Jessica Lumley is a young professional working at the London Centre of International Law Practice (LCILP) as a Programme Manager of Geopolitics and International Security. She holds an MSc in Politics Research from the University of Oxford and a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent. A highly-trained and multi-disciplinary researcher, Jessica was awarded a distinction in both her Master’s and Undergraduate theses, as well as the Colin Seymour-Ure Prize for best final year dissertation and the Maurice Vile Prize for best final year academic performance. With LCILP, her work involves creating practically-oriented country and regional analyses and to inform project management and communications with clients based mainly in the Middle East and Africa. However, her international experience is both broad and deep, having taught international relations at Hong Kong University and Zhejiang University, contributed to a specialist expert-led seminar on the European Union in Brussels, and received an offer of a placement in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars for her academic achievements whilst in the United States, among others.
