Fatemah A. Al Maddah is a legal advisor at a private investment company situated in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She holds an LLM degree in International Business Law from the Centre of Commercial Law Studies – Queen Mary University in London and a Licence in French Law and Economic Studies from the University Paris Descartes (Paris V) in Paris. Her research interests focus on the study of Islamic finance and Islamic finance law. More specifically her work examines Sukuk (i.e. Islamic investment certificates) and their different structures.
