Dr. Gonel is professor of Economics in Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul. She received his master degree from Bogazici University and PhD degree from Istanbul University. She visited Seul National University and worked on Korean economic development for six months. Her research interests include sustainable development, international trade and technological development. She has published articles in the field of sustainable development and she has attended many conferences on sustainable development and international trade.
