Prof. Sahar A. El-Masry is a Professor at the Department of Biological Anthropology, Medical Research Division, National Research Centre, Cairo, Egypt. She obtained her MSc in Pediatrics from Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, and her PhD in Environmental Science from Department of Medical Sciences, The Institute of Environmental Studies, Ain-Shams University, Egypt. Currently, she is working on growth and development and nutritional assessment of Egyptian children using the anthropometry and body composition, with special emphasis on obesity. She has more than 26 published papers in this field.
