Biography

Dr Souad Mohamed is an international- inspirational speaker, Success Coach, a Mentor and an Associate Professor. She promotes personal development and has a heart for making a difference in the lives of young people and women. She graduated from Goldsmiths’ University of London and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychology with Computer Science. She has been awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy in the Exploration of Information Systems’ Indirect Human Costs from Brunel University, UK. She currently works as a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Business Information and Knowledge Management in the University of Westminster, United Kingdom. Souad teaches across many undergraduate and post-graduate courses and leads on subjects such as People Organisations & Management; Leading the Knowledge Based Organisation; Knowledge Innovation Management, Communication for Global Business, and supervises PhD, MBA, MA, MSc projects. Dr Souad has written and presented several successful publications in refereed journals, national and international conferences. Her multidisciplinary research interests include Leadership Development; Women Leadership Development; Youth empowerment; Knowledge Management; Her wider research interests include: Evaluation of Information Systems; the assessment and management of the direct and indirect costs of Information Systems’ implementation and hence Human and Sociotechnical considerations of technology adoption. She has significant leadership experience and effective management skills gained through executive roles such as Chairperson, National Curriculum Co-ordinator, Programme Co-ordinator and Information Communication Technology Manager. She is on the editorial board for academic journals. She is also a mentor and on the advisory board for several organizations.
