Dr Edward C. Chaloupka is a Professor of human anatomy and physiology and exercises physiology in the Department of Health and Exercise Science at Rowan University (New Jersey). He holds bachelor and master’s degrees from Queens College of the City University of New York, is a graduate of the physical therapy programme at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital (Philadelphia) and has earned a PhD in exercise physiology from The Ohio State University. Dr Chaloupka is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and is widely published in refereed journals in exercise physiology and other areas of sports medicine. He has extensively presented his research at state, national and international professional meetings. In addition, Dr Chaloupka is a clinically practising physical therapist in the state of New Jersey
