Algerian of origin, South African by training. Currently working and living in the Netherlands providing policy advice on political governance (including on Goal 16) to African institutions (AUC, NPCA, regional economic communities, pan-african parliament) as well as to the EU. Previously, I worked as a civil society training on the African Peer Review Mechanism (based in Johannesburg with regular visits to other African countries), a regional consultant for the Africa Forum under the leadership of Mozambican former president Joaquim Chissano, as well as a researcher at the Africa Institute of South Africa.
