Biography

Dr. Ghulam Ali currently working as Assistant Professor HRM at Lahore Business School and Effat College of Business. He has more than 10 years, diversified, experience in teaching, training, research, & consultancy in both public & private institutes. He has served as Director SIBA Executive Development Center, Coordinator of EMBA, MS & PhD programs, HoD of Business department, Assistant Professor (HRM/OB) at Sukkur IBA, and visiting faculty member at IAE Aix-en-Provence, France. He has organized more than 50 workshops, seminars, & training where he has trained more than 3000 professionals. His services have been hired as a Lead Trainer for more than 25 training & workshops conducted by well-known organizations such as SSGC, IRD, Literacy and Education Department of Sindh Government, NSUSC, ASP LUMS, CIDA, USAID, etc. He has been actively involved in empirical/quantitative research in the areas of leadership, trust, work-family interference, employee performance, etc. My 16 research papers have been published/presented in peer-reviewed top journals, such as Group and Organization Management, International Journal of HRM, etc., and conferences, such as AoM Annual Conference. So far, he has supervised 5 MS &2 PhD (in process) theses. Apart from my teaching, training, and research work, he has written some successful project proposals, including 9.05 million from International Relief & Development (IRD) and a project of worth 19.20 million from Ministry of Education, Sindh, and successfully completed. He has also given consultancy on USAID project on Teacher Educators, World Bank sponsored a project on Standardized Achievement Test (SAT-II) in Sindh. Along with teaching, he has giving consultancy on designing effective Assurance of Learning system in business education and progressing for AACSB International Accreditation.
