Dr. Lilis Nuraida obtained her MSc and PhD from the University of Reading UK. She is a lecturer at Department of Food Science and Technology, Bogor Agricultural University and a researcher at Southeast Asian Food and Agricultural Science & Technology Centre, Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia. Her research interest is in functional properties of lactic acid bacteria, development of probiotic foods, microbiology of tropical fermented food and food preservation. She had presented her research papers at international and national conferences. She also actively provides training in food safety area for the food industry and government institution related to food in Indonesia.
