Biography

Maged Yassin holds a PhD in Physiology from the Queen’s University, Belfast, UK, and worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology, Yale University School of Medicine, United States of America. He is currently a Professor of Physiology in the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University of Gaza. He is a public health research consultant for the Earth and Human Research Center for Research and Studies in Gaza Strip, Palestine. He has many significant contributions to physiology and public health issues, which include diabetes, blood diseases, nutrition water quality, pesticides intoxication and lead poisoning.
