Dr. Mieke Faber is a researcher at the Medical Research Council in South Africa. She holds a PhD from the Universtiy of Stellenbosh. Dr. Mieke Faber is registered with Health professional Council of SA, Member of Nutrition Society of SA and a member of  Association for Dietetics SA. She was the Chairperson of the Steering Committee SA (2006- 2007).
