Nirmal Aryal holds an MSc degree in Public Health from the UK, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Otago, New Zealand. His research interests include epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases and
related risk factors. He has published research articles on cardiovascular disease risk factors and metabolic syndrome in Nepalese and the South Asian context.
