Radya Osman MD was born and raised in Khartoum, Sudan. She graduated from Khartoum University in 2008. She is proud to be the first Sudanese medical graduate ever accepted for a radiology residency training position at Indiana University, USA, and will be starting this in July 2015. Dr Osman represented Sudan at the Radiological Society of North America, Chicago, USA 2013 and presented the only presentation from Sudan. Dr Osman is passionate about medical research, public health, and volunteering. Her passion for research started when she was a medical student. In 2005, she conducted a malnutrition survey project in IDP camp in Darfur in collaboration with UNICEF. Last year she worked on five research projects with Indiana University that will also be presented at RSNA, Chicago, 2014. She also has a publication with University of Wisconsin, USA. Currently, she is an internal medicine resident at Oakwood hospital, Michigan, USA.
