Dr. Briony Stevens is a DrPH candidate and part of the Cohort Doctoral Studies Program within the School of Public Health, Tropical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences, James Cook University, Australia. She holds a Bachelors degree in Health Science majoring in nutrition, a Master’s degree in International Public Health from the University of Sydney, and is a registered Public Health Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of Australia. Her area of research focuses on maternal nutrition and its role in the physical development of the child in low-income countries. Parallel to her research, She works with the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) supporting nutrition in emergencies programs.
