Graham is a senior lecturer and teaches on the MBA and postgraduate courses, also acting as dissertation supervisor. Graham leads the Strategy subject group and takes a keen interest in management buy-outs, family businesses, turnaround, venture capital, and acquisitions and mergers. Prior to joining the University he was a General Manager responsible for the successful turnaround of an engineering company. This followed a successful career in the management of motor, high-tech electronic, transport and engineering companies. His experience includes working as Finance and Commercial Director involving planning, change management, managing for growth, investment, buying and selling companies, and overseas operations. Graham has been awarded the Institute of Management’s Anne Campbell-Barnes Cup his presentation of an MBA dissertation on Management Buy-outs. He has also taken an active role in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University and an electronics company.
