Research Fellow at Natural and Computing Sciences, University of Aberdeen. Working on data analysis and Complex networks modelling and optimisation with applications to Communications networks, Health, broadband networks, Information Communications Technology (ICT)  Energy Management and internet of things (IOT)-based networks. A Telecommunications professional with over 10 years research,teaching and industry work expereince in wireless, IT networks and ICT networks energy and performance management. He has worked in technical and research roles for multinational mobile operators and research projects in the UK and Middle East including Swansea University where he focused on the energy efficiency of  4G cellular mobile networks  and cross layer transmissions protocols for the  green radio industrial project, Zain group (Africa) where he lead  the  implementation of 2.5G and 3G and central Bank of Sudan on setting up the first Electronic Payment Network. Intestested  in Sustainablity and ICT socio-economic developement  in developing countries with special focus on Sudan. Member of the IEEE (USA) and IET ( UK) technical engineering professional networks and the Sudanese Engineering Council.
