Dr. Piyawan Gasaluck is a PhD holder in Applied Sciences and Biotechnology and MSc degree in Biotechnology and Biochemistry at the Faculty of Bioresources, Mie University, Japan. She earned her Bachelor degree from Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Visiting researcher at the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Mie University and collaboratively with Professor in Japan and Thailand. She became an instructor in School of Food Technology, Institute of Agricultural Technology, Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. Her research areas are food microbiology, food fermentation, functional fermented food, probiotics and food safety. Consultant in GMP/HACCP to SME industry and government organization. She is a member of food safety staff of Food Safety Focal point of Northeast Part, Thailand.
