Siraj Osman Omer is Biometrician at Experimental Design and Analysis Unit ARC, Wad Medani. He has earned around nine years of experiences of rendering research and statistical analyses and consultancy to agro-biological and socio-economic researchers in the areas of design of experiments, statistical computing and application of biometric techniques in agriculture and related fields conducting in-country. He graduated BS.c (Applied statistics), Sudan University of Sciences and Technology (2002); MSc (Statistics), Sudan Academy of Sciences (2007); PhD (Statistics), Sudan Academy of Sciences (2015). Siraj’s research areas include Bayesian statistics, applied statistics and Biometry in agricultural research.
